My problem is staying wound. Works Great if I wind it but not on winder. I adjusted Winder angle and rotation, ( 1000 cw ) Its not staying wound on winder .

I have just recently bought myself a Breitling Chronomat ref. B13048 I have tried manually winding the watch but it doesn't do anything. The seller claims that he checked the watch and it worked before shipment. I recently came into possession of a current model Navitimer with the in-house B01 movement and I'm having a tough time winding it regardless of power reserve level (compared to my Speedmaster and Oris) I have been told by Breitling that you should wind the watch from flat, no more than 40 winds and then the watch will keep 42hours power reserve. I do this with both my SA and BB and have never had any issues.
I have a Breitling Chronomat 44 which is kept wound on a watch winder when not being worn. It's been fine for several months. Recently I will go to wear the watch after a few days and it has stopped. I bought used with an active warranty which Breitling honored all three times. Watch issues were all related to the chrono. Either the minute accumulator didn’t advance or it advanced randomly. The movement is also very stiff to wind. The service folks were just weird.
Subject to some of the advice given below, there is nothing damaging about winders. If the watch sits on a winder that is set correctly it will likely receive less wear than if it were being worn. While running the watch on the winder will cause more wear than if the watch were sitting not running, this isn’t really an issue.
